Privacy Policy
QuicklyApply is a review-first job application assistant. This policy explains what data the web app and Chrome extension handle, why it is needed, and the limits we place on that use.
Effective date: July 5, 2026
What QuicklyApply Does
QuicklyApply helps users build a candidate profile, prepare reviewable job application content, and use a Chrome extension to assist with supported application forms.
The extension can detect likely job application pages, show an in-page assistant, scan visible enabled application fields, and fill known or user-approved answers. It is not an autonomous application bot.
Data We Handle
We aim to collect and transmit the smallest useful context for the requested feature. The exact data depends on which parts of QuicklyApply the user chooses to use.
Chrome Extension Processing
Job applications are spread across many employer sites and applicant-tracking systems. QuicklyApply requests broad host access so the extension can automatically recognize likely application pages and keep the in-page assistant available where the user needs it.
Broad host access is used for QuicklyApply's single purpose: identifying likely application pages, reading visible enabled application fields and compact surrounding context, showing review UI, preserving user edits, and filling only safe or user-approved answers.
The extension does not run inside iframes, excludes QuicklyApply app pages from the in-page assistant, avoids password, file, hidden, disabled, read-only, button, submit, and reset controls, and treats final submit as a hard stop.
To decide whether the assistant should wake up, the extension may use a lightweight page classification step with limited URL, title, visible page text, and form-field samples. Full application-answer analysis is scoped to the application assist workflow.
Data We Do Not Want
- We do not submit final job applications.
- We do not silently agree to legal, consent, certification, background-check, drug-testing, terms, privacy, arbitration, or final-submit controls.
- We do not infer demographic identity.
- We do not sell user data.
- We do not use user data for personalized ads, retargeting, unrelated profiling, creditworthiness, or lending decisions.
- We do not intentionally collect passwords, authentication secrets, government ID numbers, SSNs, passport numbers, or payment card numbers through the extension.
How We Use Data
We use data to provide profile management, application assist, answer drafting, review routing, safe autofill, saved-answer decisions, account access, billing, support, abuse prevention, debugging, and reliability work.
We do not use extension permissions or user data for a purpose unrelated to QuicklyApply's job application assist workflow.
Sharing and Service Providers
We share data only when needed to provide or improve QuicklyApply, operate accounts and billing, secure the service, comply with law, support the product at the user's request, or handle a business transfer.
Security
User data transmitted by the extension or web app is sent over HTTPS. Local extension storage is used as a convenience cache for profile sync, preferences, and same-page workflow state; the signed-in server account remains the source of truth for account profile data.
Account passwords are handled by the web app for authentication and reset flows. QuicklyApply stores password credentials as salted hashes and does not store plaintext passwords.
The Chrome extension uses JavaScript, CSS, and assets packaged with the extension. It calls QuicklyApply APIs for profile sync and form analysis, but it does not load or execute remote JavaScript or Wasm.
User Controls
- Edit profile facts and optional demographic answers in the product where available.
- Turn demographic autofill on or off in extension settings.
- Disable the extension assistant for a page or site through extension controls.
- Review inferred and review-only answers before filling them.
- Sign out, request export help, or request account deletion by contacting support.
Retention
Active account data is retained while the account is active. After deactivation, data may be retained for up to 90 days when needed for billing, security, abuse prevention, legal, dispute, service reliability, backup, and operational reasons.
Some records may be kept longer if required by law, payment processing, security investigations, or legitimate operational records. Local extension caches can also remain in the browser until cleared by the user or the extension.
Children
QuicklyApply is intended for people old enough to seek employment and is not directed to children under 13.
